Grateful in the Growing Season
Finding Gratitude in Every Chapter
November always reminds me to slow down. Between the noise, the grind, and the constant chase for “what’s next,” I sometimes forget to appreciate what’s now.
Gratitude doesn’t always come from everything going right, sometimes it grows out of everything that didn’t.
This year has tested me in ways I didn’t expect, but it’s also revealed how much I have to be thankful for the lessons, the people, and the strength I didn’t know I had.
And honestly, none of it would’ve been possible without God. Even in my lowest moments, when I doubted Him, questioned His timing, and couldn’t see the purpose behind the pain, He was still there. Steady. Patient. Guiding me through every storm I thought would break me.
Thankful for the Process
Every setback taught me something about patience, and every pause reminded me that progress isn’t always loud.
Even when I didn’t see results right away, whether with RetroMental, my goals, or my personal life I learned to trust that growth still counts, even when it’s unseen.
God has a way of working behind the scenes, even when it feels like nothing’s moving. Sometimes He holds us back not to punish us, but to prepare us.
Grateful for the People Who Stayed
The older I get, the more I realize how rare genuine people are.
I’m thankful for those who checked on me without needing a reason, who supported my ideas before they took off, and who believed in my vision when I was still figuring it out myself.
God placed the right people in my life at the right time, not to make things easier, but to remind me I’m not meant to walk this journey alone.
Gratitude isn’t just about what we have, it’s about who we have.
Appreciating the Lessons, Not Just the Blessings
It’s easy to be thankful when things are good. The real challenge is staying grateful when things don’t go your way.
But the truth is the tough moments are often the ones that shape your character the most.
I’ve learned to thank God not just for the wins, but for the wisdom that came with the losses. Every “no” protected me from something I didn’t need, and every delay built discipline I didn’t know I was missing.
Thankful for the Vision
RetroMental started as an idea, a mix of creativity, purpose, and pain. But it’s becoming something bigger than me.
I’m grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey, from the team to the supporters. This isn’t just a brand; it’s a movement built on honesty, healing, and hope. And most importantly it’s built on faith.
God gave me this vision for a reason. I might not see the full picture yet, but I trust the one painting it.
Gratitude Is Growth
If you’re reading this, take a moment to pause and think about what’s still good, even if life feels heavy.
Gratitude doesn’t erase pain, but it reminds you of your purpose through it.
So here’s to the growing season, to every challenge that made us stronger, every person who poured into us, and every dream that’s still in the works.
Because through it all, God’s been working, even in the silence.
